Rockhurst/Staley Results 12.6

Kearney Wrestling traveled to Staley last night for a tri-dual against Rockhurst and Staley. The Varsity kicked off the night by topping Rockhurst 65-6 and then handed the returning Class 4 State Champions Staley their first loss of the season 30-27! The Varsity is now 5-2 on the season.

The JV kicked off their dual portion of the season by defeating Rockhurst 63-9 and falling to Staley 24-45. This brings the JV’s record to 1-1 on the season.

Overall it was another great night to be a Bulldog! Thanks to those who made the trip to Staley to support the Bulldogs!

The Varsity is back in action this Friday & Saturday at the Lee’s Summit North Invite. The JV is split this weekend between the Staley Taney Duals and the Excelsior Springs JV Invite.
