District Tournament Results

The Kearney Wrestling team hosted the Class 3 District 4 tournament this past weekend and walked away as the District Champions!

Congratulations to our 9 state qualifiers:

103- Eli Ashcroft District Champion

113- Garrett Deason District Champion

120- James Freitag District Runner Up

126- Ben Locke District Runner Up

132- Leyton Manley 4th Place

145- Caden Green District Champion

160- Coby Aebersold District Champion

170- Chopper Mordecai District Champion

195- Colt Post 4th Place

These state qualifiers will compete this Thursday-Saturday at the MSHSAA State Championship in Columbia, MO.

Thank you to all of our extra help this weekend. It takes a lot of work to host the District tournament. We couldn't have done it without our administration, parents, alumni, table workers, tournament volunteers, custodians and the Kearney coaching staff. Big shout out to tournament director Bryant Hummel for running a smooth show!
