State Tournament Results

The Kearney Wrestling team traveled to Mizzou Arena this past weekend to compete in the 2019 MSHSAA State Championship and came away as the Class 3 Team Runner Up with 6 boy medalists and 1 girl medalist!

106 Eli Ashcroft (9) STATE CHAMPION

113 Garrett Deason (10) 3rd Place

120 James Freitag (12) 2nd Place

145 Caden Green (11) 4th Place

160 Coby Aebersold (11) STATE CHAMPION

170 Chopper Mordecai (12) STATE CHAMPION

And in the 1st ever Girls MSHSAA State Championship sophomore Lexi Cole came away as the 235 STATE CHAMPION! Lexie is the first state champion in KHS Girls wrestling history!
