Coach Ward named Head Girls Coach

To show our continued dedication to the growth of Girls wrestling here at Kearney High School and in the state of Missouri we are excited to announce Coach Nick Ward as our first official Head Girls Wrestling Coach beginning the 2020-2021 season! Coach Ward has been a Boys Varsity assistant at KHS since 2013 and has been pivotal in developing individual talent as well as capturing a team state title and 6 team trophies overall during his tenure.

Since Girls wrestling was announced as a MSHSAA sanctioned sport in in 2018 Coach Ward has been enthusiastic about recruiting girls into our program. He is passionate about teaching technique and sharing his love of the sport with those around him. He will have an immediate positive impact on the success of our girls program!
