MSHSAA State Championship Results

The Kearney Wrestling team traveled to Mizzou Arena this past Wednesday-Saturday to compete in the MSHSAA State Wrestling Championship.

The Girls team placed 9th overall and came home with 2 state medalists! Congrats to the following girl wrestlers:

115 Emalie Olson: 3rd place medalist.

235 Lexie Cole: State Champion. Lexie is now a 2x state champion!

The Boys team brought home a trophy with a 3rd place finish (just 1 pt shy of 2nd place) with 5 state medalists!

Congrats to the following boy wrestlers:

106 Gage Green: 2-2 record for the weekend. 120 Eli Ashcroft: State Champion. Eli is now a 2x state champion! 126 Garrett Deason: 3rd place medalist. Garrett is now a 3x state medalist!

132 Leyton Manley: 1-2 record for the weekend. 138 Ben Locke: 6th place medalist. 145 Caden Green: 3rd place medalist. Caden finishes his career as a 4 time state medalist! 152 Will Locke: 1-2 record for the weekend. 160 Daryn Langford: 2-2 record for the weekend. 170 Coby Aebersold: State Champion. Coby finishes his career as a 3x finalist and 2x State Champion! 195 Colt Post: 0-2 record for the weekend. 285 Jesus Reuscher: 1-2 record for the weekend.
